Full-pallet Handling
Full pallet handling often delivers the greatest efficiency when multiple technologies work together. By combining manual trucks, AGVs, and intelligent software, we help you achieve seamless pallet movement throughout the warehouse.
Automated solutions handle repetitive transport tasks, while operators provide the flexibility needed for changing priorities and peak demand. This integrated approach improves productivity, optimises material flow, and ensures reliable, scalable warehouse operations.
The work behind the scenes
In this process, goods are moved from receiving to storage, from storage to production, and from production to shipping. That is precisely why it is one of the places where time can be saved the fastest. A route driven ten times per shift, and that is two hundred meters too long, costs you a surprising amount of hours at the end of the year. And because internal transport is rarely anyone’s primary task, that waste often goes unnoticed.
Logisnext analyses the movements between your zones: how often they occur, how long they are, and what equipment is used. This determines which trucks are suitable, and where an alternative route, automation or bundling method yields better results than an extra truck.
When a task is repetitive and saving time is a priority, it is worth considering freeing up the workforce to focus on higher-value activities. Our AGVs excel at full-pallet handling, can handle repetitive pallet transport and storage tasks around the clock, ensuring a continuous and efficient material flow. This mixed fleet approach, coordinated through FleetController and integrated with the WMS, enables manual and automated equipment to work seamlessly together, improving productivity, reducing congestion, and creating a safer working environment.
Suitable vehicles for full-pallet handling
Automated Reach Truck (ART)
The Automated Reach Truck (ART) is a multipurpose solution designed to lift up to 1600 kg in aisles with free space as narrow as 2.85 m and well-suited to large warehousing operations. With several models available, we can offer solutions tailored to customer needs. New and innovative software and sensor technologies considerably increase load-handling speed, and the 10 m lifting capacity and agile turning radius aim to fulfil the requirements of the most common warehouses and make ART a great companion for other workers and vehicles in the facility.Designed to meet the ISO 3691-4 safety standard requirements and in line with the rest of our offering, ART features several safety features, including safety scanners and residual load monitoring. Safety is complemented by fluency-enhancing accessories, such as the Proximity Detection System (PDS), which improves the coexistence of AGVs, lift trucks, and people in a shared warehouse environment. The unique safety installation creates a dynamic field in the moving direction, which allows the vehicle to turn faster. The residual load monitoring constantly monitors speed, load weight, height, and reach position.During load handling, collision detection ensures the operation is performed efficiently.ART is the winner of the Red Dot Design Award 2025.
- Fast and reliable load handling
- Agile turning radius
- Safe operations with advanced safety scanner setup
- Lifting capacity: 10 m
- Can operate in 2.85 m-wide aisles
- Precise load handling
Automated Compact Truck (ACT)
The Automated Compact Truck (ACT) is ideal for heavy-duty lifting in narrow spaces. With a strong hydraulic unit, ACT can lift heavy loads up to 6 m in aisles as narrow as 2.6 m. ACT is developed with optimal automation in mind. This means harmonious interaction between AGVs and manual operations, with all systems seamlessly communicating and sharing tasks. The vehicle's touchscreen is highly responsive, with fast haptics and excellent visibility from different angles. With instructive colour-coded information, the information is conveyed quickly and clearly. LED fins on both sides of the vehicle serve as turn signals and indicate the state of ACT from a distance, improving communication with warehouse personnel.ACT meets the ISO 3691-4 safety standard requirement. It has comprehensive safety features like 360° safety fields and side clearance monitoring. By signalling its status with lights and sound, ACT makes the warehouse work safer and more efficient. Proximity detection allows AGVs, forklifts and people with tags to detect each other without a direct line of sight, slowing the vehicle down and stopping if necessary.ACT is the winner of the iF Design Award 2024, the Red Dot Design Award 2024 and the Automation Product Innovation of the Year Archie's Award 2024.

The right combination of skills

It is about distance, not weight
When handling and stacking, you look at lifting height and capacity. In this process, that is almost never the determining factor. An 800-kilogram pallet is no problem for virtually any electric transport vehicle; the question is how many meters you cover with it and how often.
As soon as your operator walks a hundred meters or more, dozens of times per shift, walking speed becomes the bottleneck, and by the end of the shift, the operator is tired without having accomplished any additional work.
Therefore, it’s about which truck can lift the heaviestload, how many meters are covered per shift, and whether that is done on foot, by vehicle, or by automation.
Automate where the route is always the same
This is the most predictable part of your logistics, making it the most logical place to automate. If a route follows the same pattern daily, introducing automation is easy.
Our AGVs are equipped with laser scanners and safety technology compliant with the ISO 3691-4 safety standard that continuously monitor the surroundings, enabling humans to operate on the same aisles safely.
Whether automation adds value and where manual work remains smarter depends on how fixed your flows are.

We fit into existing environments
Equipment is only half the story. Where internal transport gets bogged down in practice is the building: a door that is too narrow, a route that runs straight through a picking zone, a height difference that can only be negotiated with specific equipment.
During a consultation, we analyse your layout and help you plan your routes, best-suited vehicles and other key parts of your solution.
Our AGVs fit into existing environments thanks to their small turning radius without compromising lifting capacity. Therefore, even in mixed fleet environments, you do not need to remodel your warehouse, and you determine the pace at which you expand.
Optimise space utilisation and material flow
Different racking solutions can further enhance full-pallet handling.
Different racking solutions can be combined with a mixed fleet strategy to maximise both storage density and operational efficiency. For example, Pallet racking offers maximum accessibility and flexibility, while mobile racking increases storage density by reducing aisle requirements. VNA racking maximises capacity in high-volume warehouses, and drive-in racking provides an efficient solution for high-density storage of homogeneous goods.
In mixed fleet environments, AGVs can automate pallet movements within racking systems, while manual trucks handle exceptions, peak demand, and non-standard tasks.
By matching the right racking solution with the right vehicle type, you can optimise space utilisation, improve throughput, and maintain the flexibility needed to adapt to changing operational requirements.
At Logisnext, we can supply you with the best-suited storage system for your needs
